I’ve been lucky enough to work with Bret on all his feature films and couple shorts. We meet many years back and I signed up to be the assistant camera on Psychopathia Sexualis. And on Little Death and The Unwanted, I was the gaffer. Over the years, he’s become one of my best friends and a filmmaker I admire. He writes the films he wants to see and gets them made. I think anyone that’s worked with him will tell you that he’s a great guy to be around. Plus, he wants to be as collaborative as possible and is always humbled when so many come out to help make his film a reality. Being a great guy doesn’t make you a great director, but in this case it’s true.
